Has experience in the area of ??Computer Science, currently conducts research focused on: information science and information technology, investigating issues related to the Data Life Cycle, Transparency and Information Flow in Productive Chains. He worked as a professor at Faccat Faculdade de Ciências Contábeis e Administração de Tupã, where he coordinated a course of Administration with Qualification in Systems Analysis for ten years and the course of Licenciatura in Computing. He worked in the private sector as a consultant, integrator and researcher of new information technologies from 1988 to 2004.

Resumo
As Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação têm possibilitado a criação de uma grande quantidade de dados que necessitam ser devidamente controlados para a garantia da proteção dos direitos fundamentais da pessoa humana. O presente trabalho tem como escopo analisar a relação entre informação e privacidade no âmbito da Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados. Reflete sobre os instrumentos legais de amparo a proteção de dados no âmbito do ordenamento pátrio. Busca discorrer sobre os contornos que envolvem a referida lei na proteção da privacidade e o acesso à informação considerando o papel do consentimento como requisito para tratamento dos dados pessoais. Como metodologia adotar-se-á pesquisa bibliográfica e exploratória. Como resultados, examina como a referida lei coloca o acesso à informação como instrumento que permite a privacidade se manter como ponto central para a proteção dos direitos fundamentais dos indivíduos, concluindo que o controle torna-se instrumento de garantia dos direitos de liberdade, intimidade e privacidade.

Abstract
Information and communication technologies have made it possible to create a large amount of data that needs to be properly monitored to guarantee the protection of the fundamental rights of the human Person. The present work is scoped to analyse a relationship between information and privacy under the general law of data Protection. It reflects on the legal instruments of protection of parental ordination. It seeks to discuss the contours that involve the law in the protection of privacy and access to information considering the role of consent as a requirement for the treatment of personal data. As a methodology, bibliographical and exploratory research will be adopted. As a result, it examines how an law places access to information as an instrument that allows a privacy to remain as a central point for the protection of the fundamental rights of individuals, concluding that control becomes a guarantee instrument the rights of freedom, intimacy and privacy.
