Abstract

The transformation of society, associated with technological development and communication, has brought about great changes in social interrelationships. New paradigms, such as the Information Society, have emerged with the universalization of access to information and the growing spread of data flow, yet crime is not alien to the phenomenon of the transformations of society. The emergence of the Internet has made it easier for criminals to propagate illicit practices more easily. Crimes related to sexual violence against children and adolescents have gained much greater potential with the advent of the global computer network, as pedophiles began sharing Deep Web manuals and guides to teach practices and techniques of child sexual violence. In this context, the present research tries to produce a set of guidelines and principles of prevention of the crime of Child Pornography, through the analysis of pedophilia manuals available in the Deep Web. This research is characterized as exploratory and qualitative, being explored through the analysis and categorization of pedophilia manuals; perceptions of cops in coping with the problem; and of the perceptions of psychosocial professionals in the reception of the victims. In this way, we seek to provide a set of prevention guidelines that can support State actions in the promotion of public policies to combat Child Pornography.
