The Brazilian Family Farming 4.0 Symposium aims to broaden the debate about the necessary adaptation of family farming to technological innovations as a tool for sustainable and inclusive rural development, value aggregation and digital inclusion. The specific objectives are: (i) to discuss concepts, effects, effectiveness, and adaptation around the family agriculture tripod - digital inclusion - sustainable development, (ii) demonstrate the importance of stimulating the use of ICT in the rural family environment, and (iii) of ICTs as a strategic tool for sustainable rural development and for adding value to production.
