VI e-CoDAF - Digital Skills for Family Farmers Meeting

Approaching the smallholder to accessing and using data: building bridges between their needs and ICT

The VI e-CoDAF - 6th Digital Skills Conference for Family Agriculture presents this year the theme: Approaching the smallholder to accessing and using data: building bridges between their needs and ICT. VI e-CoDAF is promoted by the CoDAF project - Digital Competences for Family Agriculture and focuses on the presentation of reflections on proposals for the development and use of Information and Communication Technologies by the rural sector, especially for small producers. In this edition, it will count on the collaboration of three higher education institutions (UNESP/Tupã, FATEC/Presidente Prudente, UFPA/Belém), which increases its visibility and results reach.

Abstract (Portuguese)

Com o crescimento exponencial da oferta e uso das Tecnologias da Informação, observa-se uma maior inclusão do usuário nos ambientes informacionais digitais. Com os aportes teóricos da Arquitetura da Informação, e com ela, da Experiência do Usuário, objetivou-se identificar e avaliar as sete facetas da Experiência do Usuário no portal do CoDAF. Buscando contribuir com melhorias para o acesso e uso da informação para os pequenos agricultores, realizou-se observação direta no site https://codaf.tupa.unesp.br/. Constatou-se que o ambiente informacional tem necessidade de aprimorar vários aspectos, destacando a acessibilidade, no entanto, apesar de apresentar falhas que influenciam na Experiência do Usuário, o portal tem potencial para satisfazer as necessidades informacionais dos sujeitos. O website é recente, fato que colabora para que ele se expanda para o mobile e se adeque as necessidades que surgem.

Abstract

With the exponential growth of the offer and the use of information technologies, there is a greater inclusion of the user in digital information environments. With the theoretical contributions of the Information Architecture, and with it, the User Experience, the objective was to identify and evaluate the seven facets of the User Experience in the CoDAF portal. Seeking to contribute to improving access and use of information for small farmers, a direct observation was made on the site https://codaf.tupa.unesp.br/. It was discovered that the information environment needs to improve several aspects, highlighting accessibility, however, despite presenting failures that influence the user experience, the portal has the potential to meet the information needs of the subjects. The website is recent, a fact that helps expand to mobile devices and adapts to the needs that arise.
